With a short holiday week many people will be on the road whether by airplane, train, bus or car.  To kick off the travel week it was obvious to take advantage of being near the airport and make that the photo for Day 23 of Thirty Days 2008.

Many people claim Denver International Airport is in the middle of Kansas, so that was my challenge to use the almost winter fields to make it seem like the airport is indeed in Kansas.  Driving along 56th Avenue, I found a nice field under the approach and waited for some airplanes to fly the approach.  As this was a busy time for arrivals this Boeing 737 from Southwest Airlines led itself to the image for today.
