As I mentioned yesterday, a storm was moving towards Colorado and overnight and into the morning brought snow to the Denver area.  While the snow was still flying, I ventured out with my camera to photograph some fresh snow in the city.  After a little while I was at Commons Park just west of the downtown area and played around with photographing the buildings on the east side as well as the skyline of Denver.  I then headed up a hill and on the other side noticed a tree which was interesting to me.  Playing with some angles, and avoiding the power lines to the left of the scene I captured the image for Day 2 of Thirty Days 2011.
