The skies have cleared and the full moon allowed for some evening photography during a November week in Juneau. With these conditions, I headed to Skater’s Cabin which is along Mendenhall Lake.
Upon arriving at the parking area for the cabin it was cool and clear and the moon was just rising over the Juneau Ice Field. This allowed for a long exposure as the moon providing the lighting this evening. After taking this image I walked over to the lake which is showing some signs of freezing over due to the cold nights however there is still more water than ice visible at this stage.
