On Thanksgiving morning a few years ago, I drove to Coronado and took some images after battling the temptation to sleep in that morning with the sound of heavy rain heard against the window as my alarm went off before sunrise. After debating for a while, I decided to grab the rain jacket and head on out to photograph. Battling waves of heavy rain which would last a few minutes I took some pictures of the San Diego skyline. One thing I noticed at the Coronado Ferry Landing was how the skyline reflected on a restaurant where workers were inside cleaning and getting ready for Thanksgiving customers mixing the location as well as the holiday for the image.
