Once again this summer I have decided to hike as part of the Team in Training - Hike program raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Why did I decide to do this program once again this summer you may be asking? Team in Training is a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to the eradiation of blood cancers including all forms of Leukemia & Lymphoma. Money magazine has rated Team in Training as one of the top ten charities in the United States because more than 75% of the funds spent by the society go directly to benefit research and patient services. Team in Training brings together a team of dedicated coaches, enthusiastic mentors (like myself this season) and plenty of local team members to help reach me to reach my goal, but once again this summer I need your help as well.
I made a personal commitment to raise $3000 prior to the hike weekend in Rocky Mountain National Park on September 12th. Please help support me in this challenge by contributing to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The process to donate is painless as you will see below and all donations are fully tax deductible.
I am also providing some incentive to donate as well. For donations over $50 you will receive a free note card from Images from Neil Corman Photography as a thank you. For donations over $100, you will receive a 5x7 print which will be matted to as an 8x10 making it easy for you to place in a frame. Additionally for anyone who donates a discount coupon will be sent to them which may be used on this website through September 12, 2009.

When your donation is processed you will receive an e-mail confirmation within minutes which is also your receipt for tax purposes.

On a weekly basis I will provide an update of the group hike which took place the prior weekend as well as any pictures taken while out on the trail.
