Originally built in 1925 the Midland Lofts was the original headquarters of Midland Savings and Loan. Designed by Fisher and Fisher in a style of Early Italian Renaissance Revival, it shows the historic architecture in the downtown area of Denver. As I was walking past this building on a late spring morning, I noticed the details in the architecture which caught my eye. Standing in front of the door I was able to photograph this detail and it climbs to the sky.
