There are two newer buildings on 14th Street in Denver, The Spire and the Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences. One of these buildings has a spire on top, and of course it is not the Spire. It was a nice clear day in Denver as I walked down 14th Street to a meeting and I was photographing along the way. Once I reached the convention center I had an idea for the photograph for today. Standing in front of the main entrance to The Spire I looked up and took the photo. I noticed the small tiles on the front of the building over the weekend while photographing in the area which is what I was wanting to include. As I got to the location I positioned myself and decided to go with a wide angle to include the overhang and capture the image.
