You may not know it but the entrance into Glacier National Park once went over the Belton Bridge as seen in this image. The Belton Bridge was built in 1920 and for a couple of decades was the method to get visitors over the Flathead River from Highway 2 into the park. Now this is a walkway over the river and a quiet location you can watch rafters pass below or just relax. During a winter visit I found pristine snow in this location which made for a fun place to photograph along the water. I found this spot looking back towards the bridge and the snow covered mountains in the distance.
