August brings attention to the sunflower fields on the plains of Colorado as they start to peak. Driving around Denver International Airport you can usually find a field or two quite easily. On this visit it was a clear afternoon which allowed me to capture the mountains in the distance as part of the image. The clouds start to bring some interesting color to the mountains as the sunflowers stand in the distant field.
