It is not uncommon to see snow in the spring around Denver even going into May. This was one of those days when a light dusting of snow fell in Denver overnight greeted with clear skies in the morning. Getting close to the ground I focused on the grass an using a shallow depth of field put the trees in the background out of focus. This allows the viewer to have a sense of place but puts the attention on the snow in the fresh spring growth.
