When visiting the Salton Sea in Southern California I found quite a few abandoned buildings along the water. This motel got my attention over a couple of days and visits. Located on the eastern side of the sea it is in a location which was popular in the 50's for people to head to from the coast. With the beach club across the way and with views of the sea from some of the rooms facing the water. This is no longer the case as the motel has been closed, and in the year after this image was taken demolished.
