When visiting downtown Los Angeles for the first time in almost twenty years I found the
Broad Museum in a location which I recall being a parking lot when I lived in the area. The facade surrounding the building is quite interesting and with the light I spent quite a while photographing the lines and patterns as designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro. The facade is a "veil" to the building with a honeycomb pattern. In this photography I used a slower shutter with some intentional camera movement to put the lines of the building into motion and create an abstract look at the veil.
