Steptoe Butte State Park rises above the Palouse allowing a view for miles. With the late afternoon sun skimming the edges of the hills of the Palouse the changes in elevation start to become enhanced with the difference of the light and shadow. In the rolling green of the area, signs of canola can be seen growing in the distance with the bright yellow.
