I headed up to Central City just prior to sunset in Colorado on a November day. Once you get past the casinos of Blackhawk and Central City you will find the Central City Opera House which was built in 1878 during the mining boom in the area. This building is now a National Historical Landmark and quite busy in the during the summer festival. On this day is was just the street lights and remaining daylight in the area, however looking down the hill there was plenty of activity. As I was photographing the building a car passed by which showed the long duration of time the shutter was open taking this image at dusk.
