In 2008 I headed to Glacier National Park and explored the park in the winter months. This is quite different than in the summer due to much less of the park open and the numbers of visitors quite less at this time. On this day I believe I saw around 10 people in the park while exploring on snowshoes. Lake McDonald is pictured in this image from the shoreline just prior to sunset on a pleasant day to explore Glacier.
