In the Flathead Valley of Montana the Mission Mountains sit to the east of the valley floor. This barn is quite known by photographers and capturing the scene with some nice light and snow in the mountains is what makes the image. As I headed up to the location from Missoula, I found a location which allowed me to position the crops for the summer growing season in the image as well.
