On a fall afternoon in Denver I headed out to City Park to photograph at sunset. Being just past the autumnal equinox the light was still behind the city skyline as I waited for sunset. Taking advantage of this afternoon light I composed by scene and let the light flow into the background which provided a source to backlight the city as well as the trees within the park.
