This is an image which is pretty hard to plan ahead when capturing images from an airplane. This was a combination of being assigned a runway which was on the west side of the airport. This allowed the shadow of the airplane I was to cast on one of the de-icing pads at the airport as we neared landing. The morning light put the shadow in the right location as the timing of landing caught one of the morning rushes of departures. Once again looking towards what is coming into the frame is quite helpful for planning the capture of this image which literally will fly by in mere seconds.
