During a fall visit to Chicago the color of the leaves of Grant Park were starting to show as the city transitioned from summer to winter. From a perspective on a building along Michigan Avenue I was able to view these colors from above the tree line. In the distance I noticed how the Jay Pritzker Pavilion was rising through the trees in the park and starting to blend in with the building facades of the city. With a longer lens I was able to isolate the pavilion, building facades and the colors of the season blending them into one photograph.
