As I walked on the new walkway towards the Whale Sculpture in Juneau, I noticed the starfish which were at the edge of the steps of the seating area along the way. With the sunlight casting a shadow I spent a little time photographing these elements more so designed to limit skateboarding tricks on the wood. Standing above the starfish I was able to pick an angle which brought the lines through the image and also showed the face there was a step below.
