One morning while walking around Sloans Lake in Denver at sunrise I noticed the shape of this tree in the distance. As I approached the tree the sun started to rise over the horizon fitting in perfectly to the scene and providing for the starburst look using a small aperture as well as the leaves on the tree to provide the effect while shooting into the sun.
