I spent some time along the Oregon Coast in the southern part of the state one February. During this time I found an open beach and did some long exposure photography at sunset to capture the motion of the water as it came onto the shore. At low tide there was plenty of opportunity to try different angles, however with that there was also the challenge of the tripod sinking in the wet sand. This image is looking straight out to the ocean where the sun had set about 15 minutes prior, which allows some motion in the waves.
