Transitions in the Sand

There are so many different landscapes which you can encounter when visiting Death Valley National Park as shown in this transitions in the sand. While walking though the sand dunes area near Stovepipe Wells, the hardpan is covered by the sand. However over time as the sand blows areas of the hardpan is shown giving transitions as seen i this photograph. Depending on how long the hardpan has been covered or in the harsh climate of Death Valley it will differ in how the patterns and textures will present itself in the natural scenery of this National Park.
